  • Q1) Why would I choose Google Maps over another mapping product? There are other mapping products available, but be sure to understand the full suite of layers/data that are available. Do they offer satellite, hybrid layers for your clients to toggle between and use? Do they offer the same performance as Google Maps do?
  • Q2) What is Satelite, Hybrid mode? Satelite mode is a map mode which displays tiles of satelite imagery, hybrid is a mode in which street information is overlayed on top of satelite imagery
  • Q3) Can I host the Google maps solution built by Rocket Computing myself? Sure can, if you have your own webhost or webserver with database support than a solution can be tailored to suit. At this point in time only ASP.NET IIS/SQL Server hosts are supported. Please contact us to discuss other alternatives
  • Q4) I don't have a webhost can Rocket Computing host this solution for me? Rocket Computing have the required server infrastructure to host your solution. Consultation regarding required resources will be done on a per project/solution basis.
